The Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled (GSPD) has given Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, seven days to retract and apologise for mocking Stonebwoy.
It can be recalled that Shatta Wale mocked his fellow artist Stonebwoy, for his disability after Stonebwoy boycotted the Abeka Salahfest event at which the two were scheduled to perform.
In the viral video circulating on the Internet, Wale said “Stonebwoy, you are a disabled man but you want to fight me a strong man, I will kick you.”
Shatta Wale insulted Stonebwoy like this on stage, that’s what he always does
Dem go pay you say perform then you go use 2 hours insult your colleagues

Following this, the GSPD has said it expects the artiste to apologise to the physically challenged society in Ghana for making a mockery of Stone’s disability.

President of the GSPD, Matthew Annor, in an interview on Onua FM explained that the institution will have no choice but to take legal action if Wale fails to apologise within seven days.
“We have given him 7 days. We spoke to one of the directors of his PR unit, Mr. Adu Gyamfi Kwame, and he said he would speak to him to see the way forward. If he doesn’t respond in seven days, we will write a formal letter to his directors and producers and if he fails to heed to their advice then we will resort to the court,” Mr. Annor told the host.
The Society in a statement on Monday, April 15, prompted Shatta Wale to retract and apologise to all persons with disabilities in Ghana.
They also reminded him that making derogatory statements about a person’s disability is a punishable offence by law citing the Disability Act 715.
Responding to the mockery, GSPD noted that such a primitive statement should not have come from a high-profile personality like Shatta Wale.
The society described that act as irresponsible and urged Ghanaians to condemn the musician’s behaviour.
