Not long ago, the La Liga all-time goal scorer joined French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) as a free agent. This was due to the inability of Barcelona to register him due to La liga financial rules.
The news of Barcelona’s inability to register Lionel Messi came as a shock to the whole world as no one envisaged the Bandierra would ever leave his boyhood team.
In a tearful presentation, the 6-time Balon d’or winner addressed Barcelona fans, as he struggled to fight back his tears. He was handed a tissue to wipe his tears and this has become another man’s fortune.
This man who sat at the front row at the time of the press conference managed to grab the tissue which is now being auctioned at a million dollars.
It would be interesting however, not surprising, to see whoever would be willing to fish into the pockets to grab it as a collector’s item.
