The man at the centre of controversy surrounding the Sputnik V Vaccine mess and Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu is currently on a two-week leave to enable him attend to some personal issues.
Understandably, the request was granted by the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare.
He officially began the leave last week.

The Health Minister has come under intense criticism for breaching procurement processes while trying to secure Sputnik V vaccines for Ghana.

There’s been several calls by the media and CSOs for him to resign or be sacked by the president. While earlier reports indicated that he had resigned from his position, close associates of the minister have debunked those assertions.
