TGMA: 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards Scheduled for June 1

25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards promises nothing but an amazing night of music and stupendous talent exhibition.

The 25th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards(TGMA) will be held on June 1, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

The biggest award ceremony in Ghana will feature performances from Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, King Promise, Mr. Drew, Nacee, Amerado, King Paluta, Efya, Amaree, Team Eternity and many others. These performances promise nothing but an unforgettable evening of entertainment, immersed in a celebration of Ghanaian music and talent.

For many lovers of the award show, the highlight of the night would be the crowning of the Artiste of the Year. Fans of artistes nominated in the category will be waiting anxiously with the hope of seeing their favourite clinch home the biggest accolade of the TGMA night.

The Artiste of the Year award acknowledges the artiste who has made the biggest impact in the industry over the past year. The said category has always been surrounded by unending controversies – often fueled by stans of artistes who failed to win it and in genuine cases, the public.

This year’s TGMA will award individuals across 30 categories throughout the evening.

The 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards is powered by Charterhouse and supported by TV3, Guinness, Closeup, British Council, media partners, and Telecel.

The ceremony will be live-streamed on YouTube and aired on TV3 for viewers and fans, while tickets are available on sale at the Charterhouse Office for ¢500 Premium and ¢700 VIP.

The Telecel Ghana Music Awards, formerly known as the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), is an annual music awards ceremony founded in 1999 by Charter House, a local event planning company, to honour Ghanaian musicians for their contributions to the development of the country’s related industries.
