Thousands Participate in NPP’s Unity Walk at Kwahu Easter Celebrations

Addressing the crowd, Dr Bawumia emphasized his party's superior record in many sectors and declared their readiness to work very hard to build on their achievements and move Ghana to a future of promise and possibilities.

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, joined thousands of party supporters and executives on Saturday, March 30, 2024, for a unity walk as part of the Kwahu Easter celebrations.

The walk organised by NPP and themed Let’s arise and build Ghana together through unity walk, took off at Kwahu Bepong at 6:30am through the principal streets of the Kwahu enclave and ended at the rally grounds at Mpraeso where some executives of the party addressed party supporters.

Addressing the crowd, Dr Bawumia emphasized his party’s superior record in many sectors and declared their readiness to work very hard to build on their achievements and move Ghana to a future of promise and possibilities.

He added further that the party was determined to break the 8, a slogan the party has been running with to suggest that they will be the only party in Ghana’s history to stay in power for more than two terms.

The walk was also graced by some Ministers of State, NPP National Chairman, Stephen Ntim, NPP General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, some national, regional and constituency executives, as well as a number of MPs from the Eastern Region.

On his part, the party’s General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Koduah told party supporters that the NPP was battle-ready for the 2024 general elections and emphasised that the party would be victorious at the December 7 polls.
