US: Diddy’s Lawyer Slams Searches, Says was “Gross Use of Military-Level Force”

On Tuesday, March 26, investigators from the Department of Homeland Security carried out search warrants at properties owned by Combs in West Los Angeles, California, and Miami, Florida and detained his two sons.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Comb’s Lawyer, Aaron Dyer, has criticized the “excessive show of force and hostility” displayed by Homeland Security Investigations agents during the searches of Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami.

On Tuesday, March 26, investigators from the Department of Homeland Security carried out search warrants at properties owned by Combs in West Los Angeles, California, and Miami, Florida and detained his two sons.

In response to the raids, Comb’s lawyer called the raids and media coverage an “excessive show of force” by the security services.

“There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way,” Dyer said. “This unprecedented ambush paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.”

Combs has faced several legal battles, with lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault and trafficking.

His girlfriend and R&B singer Cassie, filed a lawsuit in November 2023 accusing him of sexual abuse, including rape. The lawsuit claimed that he forced her to engage in sexual acts with male prostitutes while he filmed them.

Another person who accused Mr. Combs was music producer, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr. who claimed he was coerced into soliciting prostitutes and pressured to have sex with them.

His lawyer insists Combs is “innocent and will continue to fight” to clear his name”.
