The Wa District Court has remanded into police custody 5 five persons arrested in connection with the brutal murder of Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Cosy Hills Hotel also known as Jirapa Dubai,
Seven persons were picked up by the police as part of the investigation to resolve the mystery surrounding the death of the Jirapa Dubai CEO. After profiling the suspects, two were granted police inquiry bail but the rest were taken to court and subsequently remanded. The remanded persons are to re-appear in court on February 28.
According to Joy News sources, another suspect has been flown from Takoradi to the Upper West Region. He was a former employee said to have been sacked by the late CEO, Eric Johnson on the Thursday before his murder on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament for Jirapa constituency, Cletus Seidu Dapilah, has offered a GH¢100,000 reward for information on the killers of the CEO of Royal Cosy Hills Hotel, Eric Johnson.

According to the MP, any person who provides credible information to enable the police to solve the murder case will receive this cash reward.
Eric Johnson was found brutally murdered in his private residence near the hotel on Sunday, February 11, triggering an extensive investigation.
During his lifetime, Johnson was hailed by many especially the locals for his investments in Jirapa, an area often overlooked by others, a demonstration of foresight.
Beyond his hotel business, Johnson’s commitment to regional development was evident in his pivotal role in completing an ultra-modern auditorium, enriching the community’s social and cultural infrastructure.
With his passing, some residents say a void has been left in the development of Jirapa and the Upper West Region.
