WHO Says Coronavirus Crisis Likely to Get ‘Worse and Worse’

The World Health Organization (WHO) says the world’s coronavirus cases may get “worse and worse”  as too many countries are “headed in the wrong direction”.

This comes at at a time whes global cases near 13 million. The pandemic could potentially get far worse if all nations do not adhere to basic healthcare precautions, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned.

The pandemic has caused “an education emergency” with 9.7 million children at risk of never returning to school, according to a report released by human rights group Save the Children.

More than 12.9 million people around the world have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and almost 570,000 have died, according to a tally by the Johns Hopkins University. More than 7.1 million patients have recovered.
