In a Tuesday interview on Joynews monitored by The Accra Times, the Abetifi MP cautioned Ablakwa against attempts to ruin his reputation and that of Rock City Hotel, a company he owns.

“You are just adding things together and trying to destroy me and trying to destroy Rock City. It is most unfair, it is ‘un-Ghanaian’ and you should stop it,” he said.

He called on the North Tongu MP to differentiate between him as an individual and his business interests, and to ask meaningful questions if he has any.

“If you have issues with a corporate entity, ask questions. I will never stop you and nobody will stop you from asking questions but in the tangent that you [Okudzeto Ablakwa] are going, it has nothing to do with that,” he added.

The Minister concluded by saying, Mr. Ablakwa was not telling the facts and CHRAJ would confirm with him (Mr. Ablakwa)

The Minister concluded his statement by saying that Mr Ablakwa’s assertions were false and that CHRJA would confirm the truth to him.

“I am a politician and I can be okay with it… but note that you are not speaking the truth and CHRAJ will confirm all this to you.”
