No Bad Blood Between Me and King Promise – Stonebwoy

Addressing speculation about a possible feud between them, Stonebwoy stated that there was no bad blood between him and King Promise, dispelling rumors of a rift.

Celebrated dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has responded to rumors concerning his reluctance to respond to a congratulatory message from King Promise, after winning the Artiste of the Year award.

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Stonebwoy affirmed that there was no form of animosity whatsoever between himself and King Promise. The dancehall artiste claimed that he had seen the message, but his lack of response was due to the overwhelming number of congratulatory messages he received after other people after the event.

“There is nothing attached to me not responding to King Promise’s congratulatory post on X. There’s no bad blood between me and King Promise. He’s a junior brother in the industry so I can’t fight with him. There are so many of such congratulatory messages that i haven’t responded to, so I can say his message fell in that basket,” Stonebwoy stated.

“When he did ‘hey sexy’, I remember I was travelling out of town and I had to still pass there and shoot the video for him. I do not believe I have any problem with my brother(King Promise),personally,” he added.

Rumors of a possible feud between Stonebwoy and King Promise began circulating on social media after King Promise congratulated Stonebwoy on his TGMA Artiste Of The Year award on X (formerly known as Twitter), but received no public acknowledgement from the dancehall star. The speculation was fueled by the intense competition between their fan bases, who had already begun pitting the two artists against each other, debating who would win the coveted Artiste of the Year award in 2024.
