Fella Makafui and Medikal, who were once one of the most talked about couples for love in Ghana, are currently going through a rough and public breakup.

After a highly publicized wedding in 2020, their relationship began to experience difficulties and exhibited clear signs of misunderstandings over the past year.

Although they have separated, Fella Makafui and Medikal remain under the same roof, co-parenting for their daughter, Island Frimpong.

The shared living situation has led to Medikal reportedly insisting that Fella’s cousin must leave the house.

In another twist, Fella has filed a complaint with the Criminal and Investigation Department (CID) seeking an investigation into Medikal’s actions, further intensifying their feud.

Medikal alleges that he single-handedly financed the construction of their home but added Fella’s name to the property documents for their daughter’s sake and due to uncertain circumstances, leading to a contentious issue.

“I built everything with my own money but only put Fella’s name due to uncertainty and for Island’s sake,” Medikal said.

Fella, however, refutes Medikal’s claim, insisting that she played a role in building the house and is prepared to provide evidence of her contributions in court, emphasizing the financial and emotional investments she made during their marriage. Due to the conflicting accounts, the authorities have decided to launch an investigation into the matter.

The joint ownership of the land documents, bearing both Fella and Medikal’s names, has led the Nungua Stool to step in and investigate the authenticity of their claims.

Medikal and Fella have been summoned by the Nungua Stool to appear before the palace regarding their land documents.
