Akufo-Addo Asked My Boss to Sack Me From Kingdom FM – GH Mouthpiece

A few days later, Gh Mouthpiece was asked to write an apology letter to the President. Despite feeling that she had not offended him, she was pressured into signing an apology letter that was drafted by her producer and manager.

In an exclusive revelation on The Delay Show, GH Mouthpiece, a renowned social media influencer revealed a poignant chapter of her career. She shared that she lost her job at Accra-based Kingdom FM after speaking out against President Nana Addo and his government for the economic challenges in Ghana during the #FixTheCountry protest.

During the interview, she recounted the incident, mentioning that on the crucial day, she was about to go live when her boss unexpectedly summoned her. In a state of fury, he confronted her about her activities the previous night. Initially confused, she denied any wrongdoing.

To her surprise, he played a video featuring her quoting the President’s past campaign message, “We are sitting on money but still, we are hungry,” and added her voice, emphasizing that hunger had only worsened since he assumed power.

Family life

After High School, GH Mouthpiece had to relinquish her aspirations for higher education to support her siblings because her father neglected the family.

To make ends meet, she ventured into the field of acting. However, over time, she encountered increasing demands, with individuals ranging from camera operators to Directors of Photography seeking inappropriate favors in exchange for roles. Refusing to succumb to such pressures, she decided to discontinue her pursuit in the film industry.

Subsequently, she transitioned to a different path, engaging in construction work alongside a group of acquaintances. Her responsibilities encompassed tasks such as carrying water, digging manholes, and acquiring skills in Plaster of Paris (POP) and Andrui.

During a routine day at a construction site, a fortuitous phone call revealed her educational background, having completed Senior High School. The manager overheard the conversation and inquired about her computer literacy skills. Confirming her proficiency, he expressed an opportunity to work for a friend of his, leading to potential employment in a different professional realm.

Love life

In her love story, she recalls a day in Hacho when she was looking for a car, and a Benz passed by and reversed toward her. The driver claimed that she was the person he was searching for. She asked how he knew, and he only smiled. Since he was heading in her direction, she decided to tag along. This chance encounter led to her meeting her future husband.

Adwoa Asuamah, who is now a mother of two, mentioned that she has been in a relationship for over 12 years but hasn’t gotten married yet. She is afraid of the institution of marriage because she knows of many people who had a great relationship while cohabiting, but things changed when they got married. Therefore, she prefers cohabitation for now.
