The organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, Charterhouse, have announced their intentions to outdoor a new music museum including a hall of fame, for Ghanaian musicians.
The information was disclosed by the Chief Executive Officer of Charterhouse, Theresa Ayoade, during her speech at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
According to the co-founder of Charterhouse, the museum was established to honour the achievements of Ghanaian musicians. She stated the museum will be outdoored by the National Museum of Ghana in the upcoming weeks. She also mentioned that the museum will stand as one of the legacies of Charterhouse in its contribution to the development of the Ghanaian music industry.
Theresa Ayoade thanked the Ghana Music Awards’ partners, stakeholders, and collaborators for their long-standing support.

She went on to express her appreciation to the Ghanaian fans who have fervently supported the show throughout the years.
“Our biggest thanks go to you, our fans who have been our biggest champion in this journey. Music is indeed one of Ghana’s biggest passion and your love for it has spurred the growth and talkability. Indeed your passion spurs us on to do better each year and by so doing you have made this the biggest annual event in Ghana by far,” she said on Saturday June 1.

Theresa Ayoade is the Co-Founder and CEO of Charterhouse Productions. She is also an entrepreneur who specialises in marketing communications and events. She has overseen a number of events including the Ghana Music Awards Festival, Miss Malaika Ghana, A Night of 1000 Laughs Comedy Series, and international music events featuring well-known performers such as Akon, Jay Z, Shaggy, Chris Brown, and others.
